For Sale. We are selling this 1978 vintage Mind Train catalog. It comes in a 3-ring binder, with all pages intact and all the 8X10 photographs. In very good condition. Fred Matsumoto was the founder of Pantera International, the car club and magazine. He was an innovator and technical wiz when it came to performance and appearance merchandise for the Pantera.

There were a number of items we purchased from Fred for our first Pantera, including the headers shown in the catalog. The catalog cost $35.00 when published. The catalog itself is a joy to read. The work that went into producing it by hand, the photographs, typography and artwork demonstrate how far we have come from those early days. A lot of time, effort and love went into producing the catalog. It is a must-have for the serious collector. Interesting are the prices for the equipment. Some parts were dirt-cheap, like the intake manifolds, while other parts were quite expensive. The turbo systems alone were about 50% of the car's value in those days. We also got a kick out of seeing a set of wire wheels that were made by our company, Truespoke (then named Wheels Specialties).

We got to know Fred very well when we took over Pantera International from the prior publisher. We often relied on Fred for technical support and advice on how to run the club. He was very passionate about improving the performance of the Pantera and put his products to the test, cracking 200 MPH at Bonneville. All of the pages of the catalog have been copied for you to enjoy.
